The only positive thing I can say is my sons enjoyed the sharks again, I felt sorry for the sharks and ashamed that I supported such a money grabbing operation. The line was all the way around the building and they were still letting people in. When we exited the building, we took a wrong turn trying to find the parking and accidentally had to walk all the way around. We were packed in there on four stories of trails as far as the eye could see. There is absolutely no way this building was within fire code. The minute we started in on this, I regretted the decision but I was grateful when we were dead ended into the tourist trap gift shop and dropped another $100 to get my kids out of this packed place. The ocelot was the worst watching that poor cat pace and be stared at from all directions pulled at my heart strings. I paid $97 for myself and four 8 year olds to be herded like cattle amongst trails while we stared at poor animals in captivity. I took my kids here on our spring break trip, fully expecting a spacious aquarium with plenty of room and comfort to enjoy viewing the animals. There's lots to see, and you probably need about 2 hours to get a good look at everything.Ībsolutely do not recommend. There's a really nice rest area once you get to the aquarium portion, (about halfway through your visit).įor an adult it's 30 bucks for admission, but I think it was worth it.

The upper levels are the animals (birds, leopards, snakes, amphibians), while the basement levels are the marine life. Very good pricing and location - since it is in downtown, after the aquarium you can walk around downtown (lots of restaurants and shops nearby), and Dealey Plaza/JFK Memorial isn't too far away. Parking is nearby and was very well priced - it was 8 dollars to park from 12 PM to 10 PM. I was told to avoid the weekends (very crowded) and weekday mornings (lots of school field trip kids).
